What’s it all about?

Vehicle body repair is undertaken in a bodyshop, it entails removal and replacement of damaged panels and components. Here it will be essential that you ensure the highest possible standards of work and finish when repairing vehicles that may have been accidentally damaged. You might also be involved in modifying the appearance of vehicles.

What does the training involve?

Like all NVQ's, the qualification is competence based. This means that it is linked to your ability to perform a range of tasks connected with your work. You will plan a programme of development and assessment with an assessor and compile a portfolio of evidence to prove your competence and knowledge. You will attend college on day release.
