How does e2e work? Information for parents page header
No two people have the same needs, so no two paths are the same.

How can Foundation Learning help?

Because Foundation Learning is all about the young person, they will need to tell us about what they like and what they want to do in life. Together we then work out how to get the young person to where they want to be. Training, placements and activities are based on the young person's needs and a way forward is agreed together.

What's on offer?

Young people can participate in a wide range of activities and awards. These might include: help with reading and writing, first aid, IT, looking for a job, health and safety, food hygiene, skills training, presentation skills, work tasters in a wide variety of topics and visits, qualifications too. This is not school. Foundation Learning helps young people on a 1-2-1 basis or in small groups, on group activities outdoors or in the workplace. As well as helping young people achieve their goals, they will also receive a weekly training allowance. There's also the chance to meet new people, share experiences and make new friends.

What is the aim of the course?

What qualifications can be achieved?

If the young person is a little unsure what it is he/ she wishes to do as a career then the programme will allow you them togain work tasters and work towards an Edexcel Entry 3 Qualification in:

OR if he/ she has always wanted to be a Mechanic then our IMI Entry 3 Motor Vehicle Course is ideal!

The course is set at three levels - Award, Certificate and Diploma.

On track?

Every 2 - 4 weeks, the young person will get a chance to talk about their progress with their key worker.

Together they'll make sure that everything is going well.

A way forward

The end result; a job, an Apprenticeship, or a further education course. Foundation Learning focuses on the young person, and only they know where they want to be at the end of it.
