First Aid Courses
Are you a local employer? Are you and your staff meeting your First Aid and Health & Safety requirements? Martec training can now offer a range of first aid courses in centre or at your place of work. All courses are to HSE regulations.
Courses delivered at Martec training over one day or longer include lunch and refreshments. All tutors are qualified to First Aider at Work Trainer Assessor level, in conjunction with NUCO Training.

We deliver the following courses…..
Paediatric Training (Early Years First Aid) to Ofsted Requirements
2 days - £90
The course looks at emergency scenarios for people who are working with children. It meets Ofsted requirements for registered childminders and the requirements for nannies under the Approved Carers Scheme. It can also be evidence for individuals who are working towards an NVQ in Childcare and Education.
Paediatric Training (Early Years First Aid)
1 day - £45
The course looks at emergency scenarios for people who are looking after children. It is less intense than the 2 day course. It covers basic First Aid when looking after children.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillation(AED)
1 day - £75
The course is designed to give AED operators the essential skills required.
Emergency Response
½ day - £35
The course covers the basic steps and practical skills needed when arriving at an emergency
Appointed Person
½ day - £35
This course covers Basic First Aid in the workplace. An Appointed Person is recommended by the Health and Safety Executive (H.S.E) as a minimum level of first aid cover in the workplace but is not a first aider.
Emergency First Aid at Work
1 day - £80
This one day course is ideal for smaller workplaces where there are few health and safety risks.
First Aid at Work
3 days - £189
This course will give you the confidence and knowledge to deal with first aid emergencies in your workplace.
First Aid at Work – Requalification
2 days - £150
This course is a reminder/ update for any persons who need to renew their First Aid at Work qualification. First Aiders whose certificates have expired for more than 28 days must attend the First Aid at Work Course over 3 days.
Annual Refresher Training
½ day - £50
This refresher course provides you with the opportunity to update and practice your First Aid skills at any time during your three year period as a qualified First Aider.
