Refrigerant Handling

DID YOU KNOW THAT... all Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC) technicians working with cars and car derived vans, must have achieved as a minimum requirement, a Refrigerant Handling Qualification to be able to handle F Gas and to carry on with their jobs. (July 2010 EC regulation)

To comply with the new regulations, Martec training can deliver the following qualifications:

ATA

This Assessment is done at Martec Training

The Assessment takes approximately half a day to complete and covers both theory and practical elements. The Practical Assessment covers safe handling of F gas – using the machine correctly.

We recommend all candidates have been working with Air Conditioning for at least 3 months.

To aid you with the Theory Assessment we will send you a training manual prior to the event to read. If the candidate fails either part of the Assessment we offer a re-test at no extra cost.

The Cost of the Assessment is £199+vat.

VRQ

The VRQ course is as above but is done at your premises, please note we require at least two candidates to do an assessment.

The Cost of this course is £199+ vat +travel expenses (depending on number of candidates). If the candidate fails any part of the assessment we offer a re-test at Martec Training at no extra cost.

The above courses are Assessments; if Training is needed we offer a one day course at Martec training for £360 including an Assessment at the end of the day.
