Here are a few comments from our clients –
Jason Burns (Fleet Manager) - Copelands Tours
“The staff at Martec are great, they offer a real personal touch to their service and there is always someone at hand to help if ever I need and advice or guidance. They seem to genuinely care about the young apprentices and their employers.”
Mark Holliday (Operations Manager) - GRS Logistics
The apprenticeship scheme with Martec really works for us. We currently have six trainees working for our company, all of which came to us with hardly any experience but had the drive and ability to learn. The lads really seem to enjoy their work as they are not only learning new skills, they are earning a wage at the same time!
Phil Royle (Operations Manager) - Robert Eardley & Son
We really needed to find someone who could help our admin department out as they were getting increasingly busy! So when we were approached by Martec and told about the apprenticeship scheme it seemed perfect for us. Martec found us a fantastic young lady who is currently working towards her NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration, she has come on in leaps and bounds in such a short time and even though she is still learning she has become a very valuable member of our team.
David Booth (Owner) - D & H Tyres
I was a bit unsure about taking on an apprentice as it’s not something I have done before as a small business. However when I was approached by Martec and was told that I could have a lad on a trial basis for a month, I thought I would give it a go as my business was really picking up and I needed an extra pair of hands. Luckily after just 2 weeks I could see that the young lad was very keen to learn and I offered him a placement. He has been with me for 6 months now and its going well, he goes on day release to Motorvate, a specially designed workshop where he is taught underpinning knowledge ranging from correct tool selection for the job to complex diagnosis techniques, I feel this alongside with the guidance and supervision I offer him in the workplace will enable him to progress in the motor trade.
