What Train to Gain gives you

Train to Gain can improve your productivity and competitiveness by making sure your employees have the right skills to do the best job.

If your business is to be successful you need to compete, and to compete you need to train your employees. If you want to improve your organisation’s productivity and maximise your competitive advantage, you need to make sure each of your employees has all the skills they need to do their job properly.

Train to Gain is a Government led service aimed at helping employers and employees to be successful.

Through Train to Gain you can:

If you and your employees were to take advantage of this qualification an assessor would visit once every month in their workplace to observe them doing their job and provide training where appropriate. Upon completion of the qualification your employees will be issued with an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification), a recognised National Award that will demonstrate their skills and abilities within that particular area.

You may be eligible to receive training worth £2,800 at a small cost to your company. Learners have the opportunity to do either a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification depending on their job and abilities.

Through Train to Gain, individuals can achieve an NVQ in a wide range of occupational areas, encouraging new skills and complimenting existing skills. Martec deliver qualifications in:

Business Administration, Customer Service, Retail Operations, Warehousing, Light Vehicle Technician, Heavy Vehicle Technician, Fast Fit, Body Repair, Paint.
