The course focuses on practical performing arts skills, wellbeing, confidence and life skills in a supportive, nurturing environment.
The Performing Arts course is a full-time, one-year programme starting in September 2026, delivered at our new North Street Centre.
This course is designed for students with an EHCP who are interested in creative performance and practical learning in a supportive environment.
Students will work towards an accredited qualification in Performing Arts.
Throughout the course, learners will also develop confidence, communication skills and independence. Progression routes may include further study, supported pathways into work, or community-based creative opportunities.
During this course, students will explore all areas of performing arts, including acting, movement, music and behind-the-scenes production.
Learning is practical and engaging, helping students to build skills both on and off the stage. Alongside performance, learners will develop wellbeing, teamwork, social skills and life skills to support their personal growth.

All learning takes place in small, nurturing classes, supported by professional tutors and industry experts who understand the needs of SEN and EHCP learners.
This course is for students with an EHCP.
There are no formal academic entry requirements. All applicants will be invited to attend an informal interview to ensure the course is the right fit for their needs and interests.
